About the project. Citrus were commissioned to create an interactive Christmas card on display in the window of Spielzeug Welten Museum* in Switzerland. Shoppers in Basel could unleash animations, add decorations and lights to the animated Christmas tree displayed on three large screens inside the museum. We installed touchpad buttons on the external window, and when pressed each would trigger and action from the tree on the screen inside the museum.
*The Dollhouse Museum in Basel is the largest museum of its kind in Europe, with a collection of 6,000 teddy bears, dolls, play shops, dollhouses and miniatures in arranged vignettes.
