Let us give you a quick update on what we’ve been up to this year. It’s been a busy one. We’ve continued our work on some of the UK’s most ambitious digital health projects and begun new collaborations that will stretch into 2026 and beyond. Here’s a snapshot of where we’re at…
Research & Real-World Results
Chris & Steve are named on at least three upcoming research papers, all linked to our digital health work. Always good to see this kind of recognition.
Stroke Recovery Research In Vision Rehabilitation
We’re kicking off a research project to support stroke survivors with visual impairment. The goal is bold, to help improving independence, safety and quality of life. Outcomes unknown for now, but work is underway with University of Liverpool and NHS partners.
Brain Injury Recovery With The Walton Centre
Continuing our long-term collaboration with The Walton Centre, now moving into a new phase of trials. The goal to support recovery for people living with acquired brain injury using tailored digital tools. Years of development now being put to the test.
Cardiovascular Digital Tools
We’re working on an app to support people recovering from heart failure, in collaboration with University Hospitals of Liverpool Group.
There’s more in the pipeline, including a digital rehab tool entering a new stage of trial.
New ideas, developing solutions around a digital tools to support understanding of autism, co-designed with young people, families and professionals. University & NHS partners. Early stages.
Citrus are helping Liverpool Autism Assessment connect with adults seeking an autism diagnosis. The service offers in-person assessments for over-16s, with open self-referral and a focus on compassion, clarity and access to support. Based at 54 St James Street, Liverpool.
The SHARP System is a trusted digital platform that empowers students to anonymously voice their concerns or report incidents, supporting safeguarding officers in adhering to Ofsted guidelines and fostering a secure, responsive school environment.
Young People & Suicide Prevention
We’re still collaborating on an early-stage concept to support young people at risk of suicide. Still in planning phases, with co-design front of mind. The aim is to build something meaningful, and try to get it off the ground.
Research Into Miscarriage Peer Support
Contributing to a research project investigating the effectiveness of peer support interventions for parents after miscarriage. The study includes an evidence synthesis and interviews with both providers and recipients. Important work, led by lived experience and clinical insight.
HIV Support Across Borders
This is exciting, we designed and developed a digital support tool for older adults living with HIV. Currently being trialled across the Atlantic, in Canada with a research paper drafted.
Alongside our clinical platforms, we’ve developed patient-facing apps that support people at a crucial point in their health journey. One of these tools has been part of a clinical trial and is now live in over 30 countries, supporting a branded pharmaceutical product. Helping patients stay informed, supported and connected to their treatment.
Supporting Clinical Trials With Better Tools
We continue to support a long-running digital platform used in clinical trials across the pharma industry. Quietly making a difference in a high-stakes space.
AI & Digital Health With Purpose
We’re helping a UK businesses improve internal processes using automated web apps with AI built in. Practical, not flashy.
Our AI work also supports global pharma clients, giving them better trial insights.
Patchwork Health, Making an Impact
Good to see Patchwork Health go from strength to strength. A platform we initially helped create that has saved the NHS over £120 million (!!), and helped secure £25 million in follow-on investment for the client. Still delivering value, years on. Great client who knew what they were doing from day one.
Local Work, Local Impact
Two Liverpool organisations to keep an eye on in 2026 and beyond…
Thrive Careers Hub, a coffee shop and safe space helping young people and their support workers access employment support and build stronger futures.
An Hour for Others, a charity using time, skills and kindness to strengthen communities, tackle poverty and bring people together.
More trial activity underway across existing projects.
New phases for stroke recovery and clinical trial platforms.
And continued focus on making health tech that works in the real world.
